Dorado’s fishing
Rio Dulce, in the province of Santiago del Estero, is one of the most rentable destinations, for those who are motivated in fishing Dorado with fly. Another alternative that we offer is the top zone of the Parana River, on the basin of the same name.
Dorado fish (salminus maxillosus) it is a sweet water fish that is characterized by its voracity electrifying catching, which demands maximum attention by the fisherman. Favourable dates of fishing: From August, the water gains transparency in the zone of Rio Hondo in Rio Dulce. Good results are obtained. The water gains warm temperature in September and with it the activity is increased. October - November and December they are the most advisable months, with temperatures that come up to 26 ºC, the activity becomes massive. This does not prevent that good fishing could be achieved in other time of the year. Good pieces can be obtained ranging between 3 and 6 kilos, but it is feasible to get Dorados of major weight.
Clear colours are advised in the artificial ones and in really amiable sizes, in the moment of carrying out the cast. They are tied in a 2/0, in white, white and red and yellow red colours, which are the favourite ones.
